Project Description

In this project, the client’s solvent–water extraction process required manual phase separation, often causing delays and inconsistencies. We deployed the Aquasant TSS80 interface detection system to automate realtime identification of phase boundaries in multi purpose reactors.

The impedance based technology accurately detects density and dielectric differences between immiscible liquids, allowing automated discharge sequencing. The solution eliminated time consuming manual sampling and dramatically improved process safety and repeatability.
